In School Shadowing
Each shadowing accommodation is individualized to meet the needs of the child and is in accordance with the classroom’s expectations identified during initial interviews with teachers and in-school observations.
Endeavor offers in-school shadowing as a transitional service between The Academy and full inclusion in regular or special education classrooms, or as an additional resource to children who already receive instruction in the private school setting but need additional support. Each shadowing RBT accompanies the child in their classroom with a focus on the following areas: appropriate social interactions with peers, attending and responding during group instruction and independent work, reduction of problem behaviors or other barriers to the child’s successful, and full inclusion in the classroom. Each shadowing accommodation is individualized to meet the needs of the child and is in accordance with the classroom’s expectations identified during initial interviews with teachers and in-school observations. Upon meeting Endeavor’s transition criteria, shadowing services are systematically faded such that the child is independently and successfully able to participate and learn in their classroom environment.
